My Inspiration

Another week has come and gone...I really am starting to feel the need to freeze time. Kanaan is growing so fast! He's clapping his hands, walking with his walker, and eating food at the table with us now. As part of my Project 52 this week (the theme was Inspiration) I snapped this pic of my boys:)

Oh how I love my boys, and moments like these! These two really are my inspiration for nearly everything I do. Austin is a Great dad, and Kanaan seriously is the BEST baby ever! I'm so sad his baby-ness is going away--but love this adventure we're on.

Little Adventurer

It's hard to believe another week has come and gone! It's also hard for me to believe I have been able to keep up with this thing so far! Kanaan is still changing so much everyday, so I'm glad this pushes me to write about every little detail...there's so many things I never want to forget!
Before we get to the main attraction, I forgot to mention that I have also started a new project for Kanaan--it's a project 52! Since January 1st I have been doing the Project 52 with the My Four Hens photography group-basically you take one picture a week for a whole year based on a given theme. I have decided to make ours all about our family! SO here are my first 2 weeks pictures:
1) Theme: Resolutions: shooting in strange light

2) Theme: Life- Our life last week was starting K on Puffs

The Boy Who Needs to Be in a Bubble

So I think it's fair to say I want to invent a bubble wrap suit for Kanaan to wear. This kid plays rough. He's pulling up on everything, and wants to run and walk on his own so bad...which he just can't do quite yet. I'm always afraid he's going to get hurt...

But in reality he's just growing up and showing a little more independence everyday. Bittersweet for mom and dad:) Bitter cause time is going so fast, and sweet because this is the most fun thing to watch. This first week of 2012 K has grown up even more before our eyes...check it out in The Schaefer Son Vol. 35
